Stairsteady

What is StairSteady?
The StairSteady is the ideal solution if you, or a loved one, are having some difficulty getting up and down the stairs, but do not require or cannot afford a stairlift. The device is made up of a handrail, attached to the wall and a handle that provides support, whilst climbing the stairs.
The handle locks in position when weight is applied allowing your patient to pull themselves up the stairs and then slide it forwards so that they can climb the next step or two. The handle is used in the same way when coming down the stairs providing additional security and support.

-          Maintains mobility while providing security and support
         Discrete
-          An unobtrusive design that blends in with most decors
-          When not in use the handle folds away discretely so doesn't interfere with other users of the stairs
         Installation
-          Can be fitted in situations where a stairlift installation may not be possible such as narrow stairs
         Alternative to Parallel Bars
-          When used on a flat surface rather than as a stair climber, it provides an alternative to parallel bars in the rehab setting where there is limited floor space.
